COMARA Night at Strathmore - March 20, 2010

COMARA will once again attend a National Philharmonic Orchestra concert at Strathmore in its 2009-10 season and have the use of the wonderful VIP Lounge just off the concert hall. Strathmore is the wonderful new concert hall on Rockville Pike at the Grosvenor metro station (free parking!). It's on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 8 p.m.

We will have the use of the Comcast Circles Lounge for our group, both before the concert and at intermission; free snacks, plus a cash bar. Join Us!

The cost for this concert is $39.20 after the COMARA discount.
Seats will be assigned in order of the checks received.

Enjoy the passionate music of the great romantic German composer Johannes Brahms. Chee-Yun plays the riveting Violin Concerto (the original manuscript of which resides at the Library of Congress), created for the composer's recital partner and friend, Joseph Joachim. The pastoral Symphony No. 2, composed during Brahms's trip to the Austrian Alps, concludes the program.
