If you prefer to purchase a Lawn ticket (first-come-first-served), gates open 90 minutes prior to the start of performance, so, the earlier you arrive the better chance for a better view seating. You can also bring your own food/drinks (alcohol is permitted) as well as your own lawn chair.
Parking is free. The distance from the parking lot to the Filene Center is hard to determine depending on where you park within the lot. It is a nice flat walk until gentle incline up to the Filene enter. Suggest to wear comfortable shoes. There should be a Park Ranger driving around in a golf cart who may be flagged for assistance if a ride needed. You may also drop someone off in the 'circle' and then the person with the car can go park the car and walk up to the Filene Center.
